Class Advisors, Inc. is a business consulting and tax preparation firm. With over 28 combined years of expertise in both private and public accounting, we provide services to small to medium-sized companies. Owner and founder of Class Advisors, Chris Lamb, has 14 years of excellent experience and service to clients. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and Nevada. He began his career right here in San Diego as an intern with the Arthur Andersen firm and has now established Class Advisors, Inc.

Christopher M. Lamb, CPA
Christopher Lamb is the founder and partner of Class Advisors, a San Diego-based CPA firm specializing in providing top-tier accounting and tax services to small businesses and their owners. With over 20 years of experience in tax, accounting, and finance, Mr. Lamb has designed the firm around personalized, reliable, and strategic solutions that help clients navigate the complexities of taxes and achieve long-term business success.
Mr. Lamb is a licensed CPA in California and earned his Bachelor of Accounting from the University of San Diego in 2001. While attending the University of San Diego, he played 4 years of football as an offensive lineman.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Lamb is still supporting local college football programs, including those at the University of San Diego and San Diego State, contributing to the development and financial education of these student athletes. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching, golfing, and attending major sporting events with his two children, Boston and Isabella.
Ethan T. Barkett, CPA/ABV
Ethan has had a passion for the tax field even before he received his degree in accounting from San Diego State University in 2002. He has been in the accounting profession since 2001, and has had the opportunity to work with all types of businesses, from small, one man, sole proprietors, to preparing returns for complex clients such as Sempra while being employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers. However, for the last 12 years his focus has been on small to medium sized businesses and making those companies as tax efficient as possible.

In addition, Ethan has received the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This designation is earned by members who have demonstrated vast experience, have met educational requirements, and who have successfully passed written examinations indicating expertise in the field of Business Valuation.

In November of 2016 he began his career here at Class Advisors and has found a permanent home. Ethan is a native San Diegan who is married and the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
